Don't Let This Happen To Your Tailgate!

Grills sizzling and tailgaters partying have been replaced by quietness at Penn State University as university officials turned a large tailgating area into a garden. This would inhibit many tailgaters from taking part in gameday events.

Penn State has talked about building the garden since 1902, and the project's development will progress through many phases.

"This is one of the most visible, most exciting new initiatives at Penn State," said Kate Reeder, university event and marketing coordinator.

Future improvement include a glass conservatory, children's garden, woodland gardens and an educational center.
